We miss Calvin.....

Masterpieces are not created everyday and sometimes may come in a form which may not be comprehended by all.Calvin and Hobbes created by Bill Watterson a decade ago is such a great example of that. The adjectives like awesome or great also fail to justify the righful place this particular masterpiece has. Well, its a comic strip.
I know some people might think what the hell I am talking about, but just go through a few strips yourself to find out what its all about.Calvin is a child genious(phew! its a wrong word kya? but i do not think there are many words for that ;)
He is a very smart kid...not a dumbass like 'Denise the Menace' or not something hopelessly unromantic like 'Archies'..(Did i make a blunder by saying this..?).Hobbes,the tiger,is his alter ego(I know people perceive Hobbes as a fig of imagination of Calvin) and this whole scene makes the entire comic wonderful.Calvin hates Susie but Hobbes loves her.Susie is another typical six years old girl.We know how gals are...;)
Bill Waterson created this masterpiece almost a decade ago and never allowed commercialization of it.Thats why we never see Calvin Bags, bottles etc etc.But in the later part Bill stoppped writing Calvin and we are left with only a few years of archives of the strip which appeared in newspaper from 90s till 2000.
So ending this whole tribute to a masterpiece and its creater on a sad note....We miss you Calvin and Bill Watterson too.
